HANNAH

Interactive video installation

At the intersection of movement and rigidity, intangible and physical materiality, freedom and program - HANNAH is a manifestation of opposites. We transferred ourselves and trivial objects surrounding us to their digital existence. In an opaque system of algorithmic rules, hierarchies and coincidences, they develop a life of their own with unpredictable dynamics.
A webcam is attached above the installation. It tracks the movements of the visitors and passes the data to a customized software controlling the generative video on the screens. For each visitor entering the view of the camera, a new object is created in the digital world and his movement is transmitted to his corresponding object. Thus, it is not possible for the recipient to observe the installation without becoming a part of it.
